Client:
World Youth Day 2002 |
Challenge:
Create a complete registration system to register 400,000
people in 7 languages. The system would include the ability
to track arrival dates and times (via plane, train or bus)
The system also had to match all registrants with available
accommodations. The system also had to track payments and
donations. |
Project:
World Youth Day 2002 |
Solution
A system was designed in all
languages to register the people in 4 separate phases.
- The 1st phase gathered all the
information on who wanted to attend and arranged them in
groups and sub-groups.
- The 2nd phase tracked all payments and
reported on groups with balance owing - broadcast
reminders were sent to collect payments via e-commerce.
- The 3rd phase matched the attendee
groups with accommodations in hotels, schools, churches
and private homes.
- The 4th phase provided all registrants
with a complete personalized agenda on where they would
stay and the different events they were involved in
throughout the week.
Exposoft built the entire application
online for people to administer across the world. In
addition, Exposoft also provided an onsite application that
handled registration, distributed badges, meal tickets and
welcome packs. |

Project:
Pfizer National Business Meeting |
Solution
Over 500 email invitations were sent out using a
pre-populated database. Registrants would access their
registration using a link supplied in their email
invitation. Once the registrant arrives on the registration
site, they were presented with all their contact information
currently stored in the database. The registrants would
correct this information and complete the registration form.
The invitation, registration site and confirmation were
created in both English and French. |
